I couldn't take it any longer so I called Willow Bow a minute ago and got Tina. She said Ed had surgery on Friday. It went well. There was a follow-up biopsy which came back clear.
He was up and about today at the hospital.
If he can eat solid food tomorrow and all goes well, they may let him come home.
That's all I know.

Karl, I bet it was you on the line with Tena when I tried to call there.
She gave me a phone number and his room number, but the number wasn't for a hospital.
If he's up and around that's a good sign, and a clean biopsy, he'll be headed home soon.

KTO was down for a bit while Jeremy did some maintenance, but it's looking good now.

We'll keep ya'll up to date on as soon as we know anything.

I had a great team of surgeons, I don't know everything they did inside, but the stitches outside are very well done. About 1/2 the pain of a similar surgery 20 years ago and a lot more action this time. The pathologist reads all cancer out, and figures this was the source of many of my problems for the past 5 years. I feel good, not real active yet, sleep a lot and getting some reading done. Found some good thoughts on the present political stuff in Ayn Rands book Atlas Shrugged. Got to laugh at how close she comes to these times, stuff we would never have felt possible just a few years ago.

I sincerely thank all of you for your good thoughts and paryers. Sure is tough to spend time in a hospital - good to be home. And again
thanks for all your support.

If you've got a sharp knife you can cut out your own stitches!
