Is this knife for real or ever really used?

Has anyone ever seen this knife before and can it really be used on a bayonet? It is said that it can fit together with a AK47 rifle. Maybe it is a copy of some old military knife that was used back in one of the wars? The website that it is on is www.lducompany.com I am wondering if it can fit on any other types of guns or rifles. Does it look like something that would be used by Chinese, Koreans, or Russians. Here is a link to the knives page http://www.liangdianup.com/knives_1.htm and it is the knife with the number 406023 right at the top of the page.
Any help would be appreciated before I order it all the way from China

While looking at the knife on your posted web-site, my first reaction was that of a knock-off of a bayonet.

Understand that I do not claim any expertise, I could offer my opinion of Chinese goods, but most have there reservations.

Personaly, I would question the quality of the steel, it has a sheen of low-carbon steel, the handle dose look nice.

I don't know anything about that knife, but there are so many other great knives available.
I can't imagine any possible reason why I would order any unknown knife from China.

I Googled AK47 bayonets and came up with this web site:  http://www.ak47bayonets.com/Bayonet_Types.php.  Seems like you could answer a lot of questions there.

Hello, everybody.
I served in russian military. AKM was a standart issue at that time.
My strong opinion - knife is a BAD knock-off.
1. There were no insignia "CCCP" (USSR in english) nor "AK-47" on the bayonets, but rather some obscure numbers that signify model.
2. I have'nt seen ANY bayonets of ANY AK's where handles were nade out of wood.
 I only saw bacelite (bakelite ?) handles
3. Mounting lock would-not fit AK. That lock looks like WW2 german Mauser rifle.
4. Judging by the shine of the steel on the picture, this blade is stainless.
    AK bayonets were carbon steel chrom or nickel plated.
If you are looking for authentic AK bayonet - look elswere.
If you are looking for a big camp knife - buy a $20.00 bucher knife in your local hardware store - most likely it will berform the ame if not better.
Sorry for venting. Just do not like when the item is sold as something that it is not.

This idiot has posted this same question on just about every forum on the internet. It's always his first post and he hasn't replied to any answers to his question. He must be looking for attention or to raise the hit counter on his website. One of the other forums tracked his I.P. to originate in China, so it shouldn't be that hard to order one "all the way from China".

If we are speaking of bayonets, blade/cutting-edge up seems a better choice if one were to consider their task if needed for hand-to-heart combat, wouldn't they be more effictive? 

As so many are mounted blade down, for downward cutting, just seems wrong?

Example, this blade configuration would do damage on the up-cut, it is still configured for cutting/more-damage on the down-thrust....

May be spam that started it, but some interesting info non the less.  I'd like to point out that I've never seen a sharpened bayonet.  All our issue ones were rather dull.  Take a look at some of the WW1 bayonets, most were spike type.  The spike type was used on some rifles up to the 50's, posibly longer on some.  The Nagant and SKS come to mind as far as spike type bayonets.
