Here is a blade I just tested with video. This blade is 52100 low temp forged and incorporates two different test's. One is that I fast tracked the process on this blade just to see what it would do. I only had about 6 hours or so between all the thermal cycles, this includes anneal, quench and temper, The other part of the test was heating the edge with the torch then fully submerging the blade on quench. Curiosity took over and I wanted to see what would happen if I threw in these variables. The blade is 6" long and about 1/4" thick with a modified price grind. with a medium to shallow grind. the video isn't very good so bear with it but it shows everything i did except edge flex. The edge did 6 edge flexes with no rollover and no chipping, after 200 cuts it was still catching hair on my arm so i called it good at that. Also notice how the whole blade flexed and not just at one point along the blade, this is the benefit of the price grind. there is almost no distal taper on this blade. The edge cracked after 7-1/2 180 deg. bends using between 45 and 60 lbs of force. I wanted the edge to crack because i want the hardest edge i can achieve and still have a strong flexible blade.

I uploaded a cleaner video of my knife test
