Harold, unfortunately no. I just came across it at a local antique shop. My first impression was just how "worn-out" it looks! The heavy pitting makes me wonder if it was buried also? Do you think it might have been ground down from its original form purposely, to become more like a bayonet?  The handle looks to be reinforced with the two large brass pins. It doesnt appear that there was any importance given to lining these up but just securing the handle was the idea. Mission accomplished, i'd say.

Nice old knife.  I figure that the last person to work on her knew what he was doing, hard to tell what came before. Too bad there is not a little more left of her.
