a cleaver with leverage! I thought this was interesting considering most meat cleavers make up for their lack of leverage with their heft.

This knife intrigues and confuses me. Serrations on an antique knife were certainly a surprise to me.

I like these old barrel knives. I wonder if their design was always intended to be gimmicky.

This one is pretty cool! I like how there are two brass pommels.

Wow, what a price! I suppose association with a legend yields great notoriety. Nice knife nonetheless.

Neat Find Jimmy!! I have seen the Dr. Lucie/Scagel knives on ebay for that hefty price before and was a little curious my self for it being so much. The only thing I could come up with was Lucie has studied and associated himself so much with Scagel. Anyone else have any comments on this??

That guy has been trying to sell that knife for a loooooong time.  Dr. Lucie's similar work sells in the neighborhood of 2K.  The owner in this case is out of his flippin' mind.  Super-nice knife, though.

Oh ok, 2k is far more reasonable. So this guy is just over charging and hoping for the best huh? That's actually pretty funny!
