I work a lot with the hammer, In fact I work as a "Human powerhammer" for a long time with my father jajaja

The steel that I use in that blade is Borum stell, I quench at 850?C  in oil and tempered at 250?C for 1 hour.

I use a neumatic powerhammer, it works like the mecanics hammers but with more control and power.
It helps when you wanth to forge integral blades or big damascus billets. The extra power some times is not so good , specially  when you are not customary. This hammer can shake your bones!  Cheesy

I hand forge the non damascus blades but the powerhammer helps a lot.
